An Offer to Learn Fishing Basics in the Okanagan-Shuswap
Free classes suitable for inexperienced hunters are held in parks in the area.
This summer, fishing activities were held all over Okanagan and Shuswap, where fishing experts were taught by experienced experts to catch new angling.
In July and August, the Freshwater Fisheries Association organizes a series of learning lessons in public parks around Okanagan and Shuswap.
Bear Creek Provincial Park in West Kelowna is home to fish activities on 14 and 27 July. The two-hour sessions will cover the basics of freshwater fishing such as fish identification, fishing gear, angling and hunting. After learning the basics of the new hunters to try to catch a fish left.
